My first post!

Hello

Well this is my very first post. I'm sitting up in bed, tired, but inspired enough to create a blog. I've decided that, as my life is full to the brim of interesting/funny/tragic or strange events, I may as well share it with anybody who finds themselves bored enough to read it.

But here I may become a little boring. I have absolutely no idea how to post pictures or make the blog look exciting enough for people to want to read more. So as the days and weeks progress you may begin to see changes. It's just a case of sticking with it!

Somewhere I know that I can write 'all about me', but as I've yet to find it I'll quickly fill you in. I'm a full-time undergraduate mature student, housewife, employee, mother and wife. I have about ten spare seconds a day, and every single one of those is spent yawning and moaning that I haven't got enough spare time. I know that I should have done my university years at a sensible age but it's taken me forty six years to realise that, (as my friend Liza put it) 'discover that there is more to life than fish fingers, mashed potatoes and peas'.

Basically, I want to become a writer. I want to leave the office that I work in (I'd better not tell you where that is, or I may get shot), and spend my days in a sunny study, surrounded by books, writing best sellers and becoming ridiculously sought-after and famous. As this is highly unlikely (as there is no spare room in my house for a study), I shall write on my blog until someone offers me millions.

I am now exhausted after spending the best part of my 'holiday rest time' setting up this blog so I will leave you for now, and provide my first diary style post tomorrow. I will introduce you to my family and tell you more about me.....I bet you can't wait!!
